SmackDown this past Friday had Carmelo Hayes drafted to SmackDown, while Kiana James was called up to Raw. Cody Rhodes defeated Hayes in the main event.
Dragunov is a former NXT Champion, losing the title to Trick Williams on last week’s NXT, the first night of Spring Breakin’. Valkyria is a former NXT Women’s Champion, having lost the title recently to Roxanne Perez at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.
This will be Dijak’s second run on the main roster after first being called up as part of the group Retribution in 2020 under the name T-Bar. After the group disbanded, he remained on the main roster until 2022, when he returned to NXT under the name Dijak.
